OK, guys, I followed your instructions and got my my FS moved to another drive, I got the patch installed and working. Now I am having a problem with my 3 D card not working. I am using a Voodoo card, however, the FS does not show one, so I tried the both that were listed in options, they won't work, I tried software, it works, but looks like crap. When I was on my C drive, the GRAPHICS were EXCELLENT !! I just wonder, do I need to download the Direct X6 to the same drive as my FS to get it to work? What am I doing wrong ? Grrrrrrrrrr..get frustrated in Texas !------------------

Hey Fellow Texan,
College Station here. I hate to say this But, after I deleted it off my D: drive I couldn't get any of it to work and finaly just gave up and reformatted the whole 10 gigs. Then everything worked. You might also want download the latest DirectX7a from 3DFX's website. It helped my FPS by about 10.

I found out if you change the fighter Squadron DIR to something other then fighter Squadron, nothing will work. I was just playing around and changed the dir name to fighter Squadron1 and nothing but the CD stuff showed up. Might want to check this. Make sure your dir is Fighter Squadron and not something else. Razer out IP: Logged |

I installed stright to H:\SDOE\ no problem.
I suspect, sun tzu, that you may want to reinstall the newest directX and the newest video card drivers.IP: Logged |

Man, you Guys are GREAT ! Can't beleive the response time on this board. OK, maybe I stated it wrong. I did re-install it, not move it. I am going back to drive C and find some other programs to move, so I can place FS back on that drive. I will keep you posted on the outcome.------------------

Shhhhhhheeeeeet, I finaly got it to work, I downloaded new drivers for my voodoo card and the latest direct X . Now it works. Thanks for all the input.------------------

OK, found out what it was, check how you added the link to your profile there's some code in there that shouldn't be and it's slightly corrupting the link------------------
