Does anybody know if Vellum files can be converted for use in SDOE? I've got an older version, 2.7 I think.

Thanks

What's the extension (you know *.3DS, *.obj, etc...)

There are some great converters (free ones) around the net. The best one I can think of and use is 3D Explorer.

It does do WRL files (VRML worlds), but not nurbs. (The converter I mean)

Hey Pete
Glad that you're havin such a good time on leave! Don't wear yourself out though. Are you based at Travis? I'm at OAK, can you get permission for me to land there?... Just kidding

Vellum can import / x-port these:
DXF, DXF12,IGES, TEXT (ASCII), WMF (META, used by windows clipboard), and BMP (which version bitmap I don't know).

So long as it isn't just a template that'd have to be lofted it looks like DXF is the only one of those that'll import into a mesh editor or converter
