Spanky here...

Hi guys i'm an SDOE fan to the core but its not the only flight sim out there right? K well check this out and maybe it could turn into somthing. Rowan (makers of Mig alley) are planning on making a WW2 Pacific flight sim after their BOB sim. Release in 2001. It is even more interesting cause they want more public involvment and a controversial deposit to show their Money men that there is interest in this type of game.

Anyway the link and more info is

One more note. I guess this means MH and crew will have a little compatition in the Pacific field. Although I would think Inertias sim will come out first (i can hope right?)

I looked at it quickly, but how do they expect me to pay for something that isnt even on the story baord yet? That might a hard sell to many people. I hope this isnt the way future sims will be validated as being wrothy of creating.

Hi man yeah i don't think its that great of an idea but i don't think i would mind a $10 deposit. The interesting part is they want public imput.

in the design/ develop and beta test stage.

thats pretty cool

plus i thought people would like to know whats going on in the ww2 sim stuff and i didn't see it mentioned

I think the future of flight sim is games where you pay for a $40 game and you can buy 10-30 upgrades every couple months that way the developer isn't building a whole new project everytime.
