I know the OpenPlane site has the Island and Tundra terrains, but what about the others (like Rhineland Winter). I do know about Poodles site and have his great DoverNight already.Thanks. IP: Logged |

heya,Yes after stupid XOOM booted my files, Esox was kind enough to host them for me. Besides Rhineland Winter, Dover night and the OP demo maps, there are no other terrains available ------------------ Zoycite {GS} GUNSLINGERS visit The War Paint Factory IP: Logged |

Bummer,it would appear once again, that when I find the time to download this Rhineland Winter, the files have disappeared Again! Are these mirrored anywheres else? Will they be up again? How is the Tundra Terrain? Thanks Rattler IP: Logged |

I made myself a kind of "Terrain Pack" and put it in data11.par. It's about 55 megs but it includes Rhineland Winter, Dover Night, plus the Island and Tundra terrains. Also I got all the terrains working with Mission Editor but the Island one is kind of a hack. There's a picture for it when you select your theater, but I can't get the map to come up in-game. I think that has something to do with the hack bit, in order to get it working with the Mission Editor.Anyhow, what does everyone think about a Terrain Pack like this that can be downloaded? The whole thing would be about 38 megs zipped. A pretty big download for most of us, but the Tundra terrain alone is a 22MB download. Plus, it could be split up for us modem users do download in manageable chunks. With a Terrain Pack, these new terrains would get used more often online and such. I'm sure more missions would get made if everybody had these terrains also. -=TheReaper=- IP: Logged |

I am a modem user and I usually don't do the chunk version... I hate to babysit a download.. ;} I love the idea, although if someone in the future decides to populate the Tundra map with towns and Airfields, we will have to download it again... but beyond that, I love the idea.

Mirth, I'm a modem user too, so I know how it is. =Þ If you have a program like GetRight, however, you can have it download the files when you're sleeping or something and then disconnect automatically when the last download finishes.-=TheReaper=- IP: Logged |

Modem user here, and I'll use GoZilla no matter how big.In the Confirmed Kill II beta I dl'd over 100mb files!I've got the island terrain and used it.But I have yet to hear any comments on the Tundra terrain. Not sure if its worth the effort or wait for the Rhineland files to get linked up again?
