As I posted below with my idea of turning the wheels with oscillator macros: Why shouldn't this work? You can have the macro looping so the wheels spin continuously, you can set forward or reverse motion to a key, you can set the speed of the turning wheels with an osc command. You may possibly be able to have speed settings. The problem was when I tested it: when the wheels where spinning, they only seemed to move anything in an up and down motion, but not any forward or reverse motion on the horizontal plane. I mean, There were my wheels spinning, in contact with the ground, but only causing my vehicle to sort of vibrate.
I wonder, could it still work by creating my own wheel part with obbody parts arranged in a circular object? If we could get the wheels to supply the power in this environment rather than hidden props, creating moving ground vehicles would be simplified immensely. Has anyone else messed around with this Idea?

I don't think wheels are programmed to transfer tourque into ground motion - only the other way around. Just a guess though...
