Hi everyone,I just finished a beta version of Japan, and you can download it now at my site. Just go to downloads and download "Japan-zero_b1.zip".
http://www.flyingpoodle.cx
There are a few things about the file. I added one Japanese squad to the files (Kokutai Tainan), and for the rest there are still the old 9 German squads, of which you can change the name.
I have already uploaded the file, but at the testing the squad's name was "Kokutan Tainan". Never mind that, it's still a beta. Also, I forgot to change the Scramble mission from a spit to a zero. But after installation you can go to the Media\Scramble\Japan folder and change the mission in the mission editor to a zero.
Also, there are 3 new Japanese medals, but the 6 others are just german ones, and so are the Ribbons.
And, ofcourse, I added the zero, with all it's original files and I added the original readme into the new readme.
I put it all into one big self-extractor (.exe) file which will install all the files automatically into the right position. It's real easy, only one file to install.
Jeeves, I just read your mail, the new zero ppf file should be in the zip. You might just want to change the directory path of the exe file to some new folder, so you can see all the files inside without overwriting some you made in your SDOE folder.
Yardstick and Mposis, I guessed you guys would be ok with me letting your zero for download. I pasted your readme into the new readme without changing a thing, and I haven't changed anything to the new zero either. What I did do was make it Japanese, by changing the path of some files and changing the pff file a bit.
I'm also very curious how this file now works at foreign versions of SDOE. Does a French version say Japon and an Italian Giappone?
Last but not least, I have moved my site to another server, but I still have my old http://www.flyingpoodle.cx domain name. Now you can see everything again.
Also, I have Updated my "Night over Dover" and a new v.1.11 is out. DO NOT download this file if you already have v.1.1.
I just made installation a lot easier by putting everything into 1 big exe file and I added a "how to make nightmissions" MS Word file. You can also see it here:

Hope that makes it a bit easier for everyone.
I'm really sleepy now so I'll see you guys later,
Poodle
