Yes, you can add new missions to the scramble list.If you want to create a new US scramble mission, make a mission with at least one US squad and copy the mission file to the "media\Scramble\United States" folder (you might have to create the "Scramble\United States" portion) You new mission will then become part of the list which is randomized. Make sure you give it a good description so you can pick it out from the rest. The other folders you can use in Scramble are: "Germany" "Great Britain"

MH, I checked the data3.par file and you have a gbdir.txt file in the Scramble\Great Brittain folder. This file has a list of all the missions you could get with Scramble and a name of the mission. All the missions are called Sramble01.mis up to Scramble18.mis. Don't you have to rename the mission to maybe Scramble19.mis, or overwrite an older one (eg Scramble10.mis). Or don't you have to add a Scramble19.mis to the gbdir.txt file? Anyway, now we also could add DoverNight and RhinelandWinter to the Sramble list. Because if we just change the gbdir.txt file (or usdir.txt) we can have a description saying that the mission is in DoverNight too. And a description like "Tally-ho at six o'clock! Attack!". =)------------------ Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a Flying Poodle ! IP: Logged |

Poodle, no you don't have to name your mission anything in particular. It must be in a particular country directory and must have at least one squadron of that country. The missions that are used come from the country of your current pilot. So if he's American, you'll only see randomized missions from the "United States" folder. IP: Logged |
