They have a forum which is represented by EAW, WWII Fighters, MIG Alley, etc.

Would the Fighter Squadron community as a whole be served well if we were represented on that site as well? Not to replace this forum, but as a alternative site. Primarily I would lokk at it as just one more place the new sim pilot would hear about SDOE and then be directed to this site.

Might help keep the SDOE name out there.

Any thoughts?

I was really disapointed when I saw that yet another online mag was not going to represent SDOE on there site. I decided to fire off an email to the Editor of Furball Magazine and tell him that no Flightsim Site would be worth it's salt if it didn't include SDOE. After all SDOE has continued to grow over the year, and the new planes...yada, yada, yada.

He wrote me back and asked if I would like it if they put an SDOE Forum up? Sure I said! Then he asked if I would like to be a Contributing Editor of the Magazine???? Obviously he doesn't know me. But I struck while the iron was hot, and he was still on his acid trip and said...YEAH!

He said I could write what ever I wanted to, reviews, articles, etc.

I told him the first one would be about SDOE.

It's up fellas. It's a little different than what I submitted. He edited the end and somethings were moved to give it a bit of a different ending than I wanted, but I think it's o.k. I'll anxiously await your views.

Please post some at the Forum. This will give people out of SDOE a chance to learn about the game when, and if this Magazine becomes successfull.

Yes, please post on the SDOE Forum at the Furball Mag site. We can't let it show no, or really slow activity, that would send a bad signal to the rest of the Sim world that maybe SDOE really is dead.

I think we can prove to them it's far from it!
