A little thing I miss in SDOE is leaking, overheating, failing, overspeeding engines and props that sometimes shear off, and supercharger failure. How could you include this in FS??
Oh, by the way: I got my new 3DFX Voodoo 3 2000 today. SDOE is a totally new game!

I'm actually looking into this for the Dauntless, but right now it's not possible (atleast I haven't found a way[logical or not] to even give the illusion). The functions needed to do it in Openplane, just aren't there. Hopefully in a later patch MH will find some time to add it.

OpenPlane really needs to let you specify compressibility effects.. nothings worse than being able to dive at 600mph and pull out of it no problem

Also an ability to simulate altitude and supercharger effects on the engine is sorely missing.

Really I think that SDoE is bottom-drawer when it comes to features. It has Open Plane, but when those planes lack all the features of their real-life counter-parts it becomes an excercise in frustration.
I reckon MH is putting all his efforts into SDoE2. SDoE1 was the test-bed and a chance for all our Opps' guys to cut their teeth. In that scenario SDoE1 has been well worth the money.
