Time Team's archaelogical dig on Paul Klipsch's Mk.I Spitfire P97373 that was shot down by a Bf110 on 23rd of May, 1940. To see the remains of a 30ft Spitfire compressed into 5ft after a near vertical 400MPH crash is beyond belief. A very interesting and also very sad story. Is there a site you can track all know crashes like this one? Siggi: It will be repeated again sometime I am sure.
