Go guys Go!!! This does make me happy- I can hear the "trumpets of Jericho" now as they scream down on an Allied ship. I am by far a fan of the Allied planes (especially the Lightning)- but my ultimate favorite would have to be close between the 38 and the Stuka- it just looks so mean! Does anyone have the siren wav?IP: Logged |

I agree Dole- very nice! I've been waiting for this one for a long time now. Is that a window in front of the flight stick? If so- what was it used for? We've seen something similar in the floor of the Dauntless.IP: Logged |

That window was for the pilot to see his target before diving. when he saw his target in the window, he knew he was lined up and in the correct place to start his dive. Mirthain=FC=IP: Logged |

Is there a way to tie the siren's pitch to airspeed ??IP: Logged |

Spanky here.. How would you even get the siren sound to play? IP: Logged |

There is a way, but unfortunately all airplanes would be affected. Simply replace your wind sound (when you go faster and faster you hear the wind) instead you could hear the siren. Not sure how well it'd work but it's a thought.IP: Logged |

So, when is this bird going to fly?????I have an idea for the siren: tie it to a key! It may even be possible to have a designated 'sound' key so that on another aircraft, oooh i dunno, the Huey perhaps? we can tether Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries to it! All together now.... STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!, STUKA!

Well if each sound for the aircraft is overridden by having the sounds\wind.wav in them, why can't only the stuka have the wind sound like a siren while the others contain normal wind (even blank) sounds? eg. Stuka\sounds\wind.wav (siren) Lanc\sounds\wind.wav (wind)------------------

Spanky here... That sounds like an idea but i think the wind sound is a global sound for everything. IP: Logged |

Well, it might be hard, and I have no idea how to do it, you might tie the siren wav to the dive flaps, opens flaps hear the siren. Can't wait for this one. PLEASE , PLEASE TELL ME YOU ARE GOING TO DO THE JU87-G TANKBUSTER WITH ITS 37MM CANNON!!!IP: Logged |

Spanky here.. See thats the problem though. You can't tie a sound to anything. The only sounds that work are the stock ones. there is no OPENsound commands yet. Hopefully that will come with the semi opensource. IP: Logged |

Wind sound can be different for different planes. I use my own wind sound for my WWI planes. You can see the files in the sounds folder under the SE5a or Albatros folder. If you make the siren sound in the wind faint enough then you will hear it better as you go faster as both volume and pitch seem to be directly realetd to airspeed. Worth a try
