Forst off- it is a beautiful plane...but-->
I tried to put it into a night mission with rockets to shoot down the bombers with, but it crashes to the desktop every time...in taking out the rockets as a loadout and putting in just guns, it works fine. Did I screw something up, or what? It seems that if the rockets are a loadout option in the mission editor that they should work in the game...any help? Man are you guys gonna like Part 3 of the Dover campaign...it's D-Day like you've never seen it before!

Heh-heh...when that one gets outta Beta, I promise you a campaign for it Jag. In the meanwhile, I'll be damned if adding dark skies in the Dover Night missions with the Ju-88G7 cause it to crash to desktop...Grr... it is impossible to create with these constant mishaps

Hi guys!

I'm sorry to hear of your problems with my baby. I'm still overworking it (shape, textures, behavior and bugs). I hope I will find time over the christmas holidays to fix it.

C-ya soon!

I had numerous crashes with the Ju88 g7 until I moved the training missions out of the media directory, read on the last message board that one of these mission files is corrupt but I have not tried to work out which one it is. Since I did this I have not had a single crash including dovernight missions and using rockets on bombers.

Commando- I tried what you said, but as soon as I went into my mission I created- instant desktop. If I start the game up in another plane, I can play- and see the 88G7 externally...but as soon as I switch to the cockpit or start the game in the G7- instant crash!

Lector- I hope you do get a chance to work on it- it is a sweet plane. I want to work it into Part 3 of the Dover campaign...it will be a while before it's completed, so maybe the bug will be fixed by the time I'm done. Either way, I'll leave it in the mission as it looks much better than a 109 or 190 (were these 2 ever used as nightfighters?)

'190A's were used as nightfighters, the FW190 had radar aerials in its wings, about halfway out. They were typical German ones, with poles sticking out of its wings.

109's were used as nightfighters too. They got equiped with a small radar which showed as a bulb in front of the cockpit.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a Flying Poodle !
