Since I installed the PlanePack, I've been getting massive water spouts, hundred of feet high. The first one was connected to a Bf109 being shot down into the sea. I'm not sure about the others. They just hang there for several minutes and you can dogfight around them, which is a novelty. Anybody else had this happen? Or is it just another ghost in my machine?

Your rather damply

It's happened to me to, I think it's only when planes crash in rivers or close to the coast line. (I'm not sure of this though)
I haven't seen this "out in the open sea"

On my system it seems to be tied into the 109s. I haven't seen other planes do that.

It's a documented 109 specific bug. We've tried everything to kill it but we're stumped at the momment. It seems to be connected to the tail (left horizontal stabiliser I think) but I'm damned if I can figure out what is wrong.

Is the 109 creating an explosion with a lot of TNT? The spouts are sized according to the size of the collision which creates them and a fast moving object or powerful explosion will create larger spouts.

MH,

we've gone through the properties of the tail line by line and the damage model is identical to the Fw190A-4. MPosis even rebuilt the tail from scratch and the water spout is still there. It's really odd because the Zero which was also based on the Fw190A-4 model does not have the same bug!

Are we looking in the correct place or is there somewhere else that we should be looking?
