IT KICKS ASS!!I configured my keyboard so that I can only be in the cockpit, and the campaign is great... I am too cheap for a printer, so I write out all the speeds, altitudes, headings, etc... On one mission a 109 cut off my right wing and all I could do was look out my window at it and try and think what to do... I stayed with it til around 3000ft msl and bailed.. Anyway, whoever made it, thanks so much!! I'd love to see another one. If you want, I'd help you with it. Let me know... ------------------ BJN 1968-1996 R.I.P. IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Yeah i forgot all about that. I installed it and played the first 2 missons but my other bombers wouldn't bomb. Anyone have any idea why? I also lack a printer and just wrote them down. They are very cool and it adds a whole new dimension to the game. More are very welcome. If anyone out there hasn't tried it and you like bombers you should try it. IP: Logged |

Wow, Thank you very much. Best response I ever had. The other pilots will bomb in some missions and not in others I am not sure why. I think they will bomb if your plane is damaged or destroyed. I usually will switch to the bombardier position when I have the plane flying straight and level at a constant speed. Then start the bombing run. After dropping the bombs I switch back to the pilot and try to make it home. I plan on doing another campaign the same way however I will make it so that your plane can hit all the waypoints and altitudes in autopilot. That way if you want to switch to a gunner the plane will get to the proper altitude. However this will mean that it will take longer to get to altitude and you will have to fly around longer. Also I would like to give the Flight Plans and Maps an official WW II look to them. Any suggestions where I may find a copy of a real WW II Flight Plans and Maps. IRG I have a couple of other projects going right now but when I am ready to do the next campaign I will look you up. It may be a month or two. I can't believe you guys are doing this without using printers. If you do not complete all the missions at least skip to the last mission and let me know what you think.

Spanky mentioned that the bombers sometimes don't bomb. I've been designing some missions and have the same problem. And I think it's sometimes so in the designated missions. Also, fighter bombers on a sweep often seem to stooge around in the target area without attacking. If you hot seat to other planes in your flight, they haven't fired their rockets and are nowhere near a target. This drives you nuts when you're relying on them to take out the flak prior to a bombing raid. But I also noticed that if you're defending an airfield, the enemy bombers NEVER forget to bomb! Spanky here... I think the biggest flaw in the mission editor is the fact you can't give anyone a target, just say it would be good if the allies take out this target and make them fly near it and hope they do their job. I want to be able to tell the bombers to hit a certain airfeild is that too much to ask?
