My rating and review is in.Guys don't let European Air War stay as the "Number 1" WWII sim. Say it isn't so. Post your ratings tonight. Let's make Activision run a second printing of this puppy. IP: Logged |

OK guys, think about this: If there was a FS 2, with the menu and interface of WWII Fighters, cockpits with moving sticks, a few more planes and more terrains, coupled with tomorrows advanced graphics engines, wouldn't that be sheer heaven?------------------ semmern §8o) IP: Logged |

Will get flamed for this:Spin, SDOE isn't the #1 WW2 sim. It may become the #1 combat sim (what about a Corea period? I'm sure guys on this forum can do better than Mig Alley) if bugs and missing things are implemented. It still needs work though. Just keep confident in its future and in devotion of OPP guys! On the other hand, I don't know what to do to remotivate European players, lobbies are less and less visited. STef ------------------ STef_EAF329

Semmern,When you get pp 5.2 check out the spit ix's cockpit - moving yoke. Also find the Zero and enable the Q - opencanopy command. You will see some of these improvements in other planes in this game eventually. There are some additional terrains around too that add interest including Island, Tundra, Winter Rhineland and Dover Night(only works with the beta patch). They also add to this game. Jerry the link is: http://www.deja.com/rate/list_items.xp?CID=11966&PCID=11815 Stef, The debate about the best is a personal feeling isn't it. I love SDOE for its missions and solid team ACM, it's a great feeling to survive a mission and return to base safely with a damaged plane especially with a wingmate who you pulled out of a sticky situation (or vice versa). I overgeneralized on the #1 sim (check out http://www.deja.com/rate/list_items.xp?CID=11966&PCID=11815 for why I said it), I wasn't thinking of other sim types (tanks etc.)

I like SDOE because it makes my hair shiny and manageable, and that gives me the confidence to look and feel my best.IP: Logged |

Spin,It doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy for SDOE to be the #1 dogfight sim. I just hope MH will put *everything* (do you read it MH?) that need to be, even if it's a new game (hint, hint, project Y)... OPP guys would deserve this success, as they are contributing hardly. STef
