One data12.par file contains all the stuff necessary for Tundra terrain. Another data12.par contains such things as the akagi, the klaxon, the saratoga, etc. How can someone have both at the same time? Can I just save one of the data12.par files as dataxx.par (where xx is a number not already taken in my fs directory?) Will this be fixed in the next plane pack?

Thanks,

Werner

Nevermind - before the idiot police arrive, I'd like to say I've found the answer.

Werner,
I don't know if you found the right answer or not so here goes.

I use the Tundra terrain with the beta patch version only. The beta has a selection in options called Open Plane and a corresponding folder in the media folder. When you create a folder called "Tundra" in the openplane folder a new enable box shows up in the Open Plane options screen. You can then have multiple data files with the same name as they are in different folders.

This is really a neat addition because as we move forward with more features, plane packs, planes, etc you will be able to quickly select what version you want to run without having to replace files in your normal online game. Switching from pp 5.1 to 5.2 for example will be a quick switch (or changing from the current pack to a beta fm will be a snap).
