I recently got Nations to stop crashing but the rudder control is waaay to sensitive. What was the name of that joystick scaler people were using for SDOE? Where can I get it?

Hi Mike, Tailslide, I have downloaded the file you have mentioned, will this work with any joystick? I am using the X36(origonal)

Thanks, calvin

It works with almost any stick. A real handy little utility and it works great! Unfortunately it doesn't let you scale rudder pedals or the twist part of the stick so I am still stuck with a really twitchy rudder.

I notice the fellow also has a file on there for hooking up analog pedals to a digital stick.

Hey Tailslide, I have a question for you before I install the joystick scaler. Can you have different profiles stored, so I can have one profile for SDOE(I find the joystick overly sensitive near centre, giving the aircraft a massless feel) and most of my other sims "feel" pretty good and they need only minor adjustments.

Thanks, Calvinman=imps=

I *think* so. I'm not using it since it didn't help me with my Nations problem.

It's been a while since I tried the digital stick/analog rudder pedals program. I could get it to work with CFS but not SDOE. I think it was a DirectX thing?!

I was using a MSFFPro stick and CHPro rudder pedals.

Perhaps MH can help on this?

The CTFJ tool works fine here (even with FS SDOE...no DirectX problems).

It's a little tricky to finetune..it works...

C-ya!
