G'day yard,

Just loaded your magnificent BOB skin,how on earth did you get it to look so good?

The colours are brilliant, markings are sharp.......It looks almost real!

Great job.....and thank you........And thanks to Tail as well what a superb flight model....

I was lucky in that I have a good later war RAF day fighter scheme I have adapted from some work that DanMN did a while back. I have converted all my earlier spits to this template bar the Seafire VX which was the first to use it.

I then highlighted the area I wanted to change and used the hue map function in Paintshop Pro to get the right colours. I matched them to a scheme off the Aeromaster Decal site (toning down the colours a bit because the colour saturation on the site is too high).

Then I had to do the fiddly stuff like aligning the gun patches - but after a while you get quite good at doing these things by eye.

That Spit looks even better as it goes down smoking after I have pumped some MGFF cannon into it while flying the beautiful Bf109E-4
