Don't know where this post should go- so I'll let kopper decide. Here I am minding my own business, working on mission 11 for my Dover campaign, and I go to add the 109 and test- and I get desktop. So to make sure- I tried training and the hanger missions- and desktop. I have done nothing to the 109, and have no idea why it isn't working. Any suggestions? Or could someone just e-mail me a new 109 to put in my file? I'll try the hangar and download it there.IP: Logged |

Hi Jeeves,The same happened to me when I downloaded the new FM's for the 109. There is a Startup.ppf file in the 109 zip that unzips at the same level as the Media folder (not in the Media folder). Move this into your FighterSquadron\Media folder and the 109 should work okay. Good luck! [This message has been edited by Aronsky (edited 12-04-1999).] IP: Logged |

Grrrrr..... Are the newest FM's for the 109 in the file that I downloaded from the Hangar, or do I have to get them somewhere else...it's been so long that I forgot. I am a 29 year old with a 50 year old memory [This message has been edited by Jeeves (edited 12-05-1999).] IP: Logged |

As far as I know, these FM's are still beta, so don't use them for online play. I thought maybe you had already downloaded and installed them, and just didn't get the startup.ppf copied over. So maybe that isn't the cause of problem you are experiencing. However, if you want to give them a try, they are at the Open Plan Projects site http://firelight.dynip.com/oppforum/default.asp . Enter as "guest" with no password. Once you get in, the 109 FM is in the "Flight Models" forum, on Page 2, under a message called "5.3 Final 109G". Make sure you get the download from the final post in that thread. If you don't want to go through all that, I can email you the startup.ppf I have, and you can see if that will fix your problem, but I don't know at all if it will work or bugger up more things! But let me know if you want to try that... Have fun

Hey Aronsky-I just downloaded the 109 from the Hangar and it seems to be working pretty well- I may download the FM and see how it goes, but I guess I musta erased something before to make it not work. Who knows...thanks for the help though! IP: Logged |
