Hi, I have been having a problem with SDOE for a couple of months now. One day I was fooling around off line trying to figure the best resolution to run the game in for better SA (being able to see attitude of bogeys) after going through all the resolutions, I noticed that the fonts for my radio comms have the last half cut off! Have not really played that much on line since as it is impossible to communicat while flying! This seems to be the only area that is distorted, have conntacted support, was told to update drivers for video card, this did not help, uninstalled sim, hunted down any remnents, still the same. It would be nice to play online again with this great sim!! My system specs are as follows, P2 350, Abit BH6 MoBo, TNT 16 meg(ASUS), 128 ram, SB live. If anyone can shed some light on this problem it would be greatly apreciated! Thank you

My brother has the same problem at home, he is upgrading to a TNT card this weekend. Have you tried the detonator drivers instead of the OEM drivers for your TNT? I think they are available at www.nvidia.com.

We tried upgrading DirectX (to v7.0) but that didn't help either.

Thanks for your reply TA, yes I have tried the detonator drivers, but not help. I even went hunting in the ini files, changed some unknown resolutions in there thinking that these resolutions were to large for the resolution I play the game in, but no go.

What might be happening is that you have Large Fonts selected in the control panel.

o Open the control panel
o Open up the Display applet
o Click on the Settings tab
o Click on the Advanced button

If Large Fonts is selected in the display area, change that to Small Fonts.

Hi Mike Thanks for your reply, Just cheked my display properties, it is set to small fonts already. I am starting to wonder if it is not my desktop theme, I set it to an abes oddyse theme and went and set it as default, now I have nothing to restore it to, although I checked the fonts for it and changed the fonts, still no change? Sheesh, whats a guy to do.
