A6M5, you solved the problem I was having getting the new FM beta file from the OP Forum, posted to a thread started as "FM 5.3 Come On!!!!"... here's your post...

Go to the Flight Models forum and then click on 5.3 SpitV, IX...
You will see the File attachment -
5.3SPITS,P51,FW190A-BETA2.ZIP

Right click on it and select Save Link As...
When the dialog box comes up change the name of the file to 53fmbeta.zip.>

Changing the filename worked perfectly for me.
Would you happen to know the proper filenames for the new Typhoon FM and the Lanc turret?

Once you download them, when you unzip they should unzip with the correct names, eg. lanc.sm.

This post should be in a techhie area not general.
